At LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital, I lead antimicrobial and antithrombotic stewardship through prospective audits and evidence-based recommendations for physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

I've developed and secured approval for 12 clinical policies and protocols spanning antimicrobial use, dosing, IV-to-oral conversion, surgical prophylaxis, PCI, acute coronary syndrome, TAVI, and VTE prophylaxis. I also optimize Cerner workflows, order templates, reporting, and stewardship monitoring tools.

My ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency built my clinical practice across cardiology, infectious diseases, intensive care, oncology, medication safety, research, and academia. As a JCI Medication Management and Use Champion, I revised policies, conducted audits, and documented quality-improvement actions for accreditation readiness.

I'm a published first author in Antimicrobial Stewardship & Healthcare Epidemiology, where I led a five-year matched case-control study of surgical-site infections involving 324 analyzed patients. I translate guidelines and research into policies, education, scientific publications, and clinically useful content.
