I manage federally funded medical research portfolios from award through closeout.

United States
Message

I've managed federally funded medical research portfolios exceeding $500M across the full award lifecycle, most recently at the Defense Health Agency, where I oversaw 200+ cancer research awards valued at approximately $345M.

I review budgets, expenditures, salary and effort, performance data, and award requirements to identify risk, strengthen compliance, and provide actionable recommendations to Principal Investigators, contracting personnel, and senior stakeholders. As a Grants Officer Representative and scientific advisor, I've supported clinical trials and research consortia while maintaining documentation for reporting, audit readiness, and closeout.

Previously at Leidos, I managed 122+ medical research awards, led CDMRP pre- and post-award activities, facilitated client-facing reviews, trained teams, and improved grant administration processes. My biomedical engineering research background helps me translate scientific, financial, and operational complexity into clear decisions.
