At Paytm - PayPay Japan, I re-architected the PLC expiring-coupon notification pipeline with cursor-based pagination, resumable processing, Kafka bulk publishing, and bulk notification APIs. This reduced processing time by ~68% for 20M+ notifications.
I also designed backend systems for Auto-Grant Coupons and Paylater Coupons, including support for physical credit cards with delayed capture and split payments. By redesigning queries, indexes, and data-access patterns, I reduced API latency by ~50% (100ms to 50ms).
