What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level health administration role where I can coordinate volunteers, support program operations, and contribute to patient- and family-centered events—using strong documentation, scheduling, and communication to help teams deliver better care.

I’m a Health Administration student currently supporting Child Life & Volunteer Services with an administrative focus at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. I combine operational discipline with a people-first mindset to help programs run smoothly for patients, families, volunteers, and leadership.

In my role, I support administrative operations including onboarding, training, scheduling, and tracking hours for 150+ volunteers. I facilitate volunteer orientations, maintain communications, prepare monthly reports for leadership, and coordinate donor relations. I also help with planning and evaluating special events and therapeutic programming, contribute to mock grant activities for reporting materials, and develop operational resources like volunteer handbooks and family tip sheets.

Beyond the hospital, I substitute teach across K–8 by managing classrooms, supporting students with special needs, and partnering with permanent staff. My approach is practical and engaging—I implemented creative strategies that contributed to a 10% improvement in student participation, and I’ve supported tutoring and patient-facing services through volunteer experience.
