What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-friendly team where I can lead Go microservices, own architecture standards, and mentor engineers—building reliable workflow orchestration and developer tooling that speeds up delivery.

I’m a Go backend engineer who’s built microservices systems, org-wide shared tooling, and distributed workflow systems at Qtera, where I now lead its backend team. I designed a chainable SQL query builder adopted across all services and wrote AST-level tooling to impact-analyze dependency changes across an organization’s repositories.

I focus on reliable execution and maintainable engineering practices—owning the backend technical roadmap, enforcing engineering standards, and strengthening delivery accountability across backend services. I built code review culture from scratch and established an AI-assisted dev workflow that measurably accelerated delivery pace, while mentoring junior engineers in Go, clean architecture, and system design.

I’m backend-first by choice but full-stack capable, and I ship personal projects with unit tests by default on my own infrastructure (AWS Lightsail, Cloudflare Pages/Workers, R2). I enjoy turning complex problems into practical tools—everything from workflow-orchestrated services to developer-facing CLI utilities.
