Mya Mejía

Designed visual assets and managed digital and audiovisual content for social impact projects, including directing Liderplanet (in partnership with Delta Airlines). This was a stop-motion and puppetry animated web series created for children.

Focused on designing and managing the post-production workflow for the stop-motion short film Cora, awarded DAFO production grant. Helped raw material come together into a cohesive animation, ensuring visual flow supported emotional and narrative depth.

Led the design of visual catalogues highlighting the uniqueness of the furniture collection through clean, cohesive art direction. Responsible for product photography and video editing for social media content.

Worked as Director of Photography on various stop-motion projects including 1098451, NBA’s Warriors Christmas Claymation, Alba, and La Carpeta de Greta: Pilot Cargo. Responsible for the visual composition and lighting design of each scene.

Studied Audiovisual Communication and Interactive Media at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). Completed the program from March 2014 to 2019.

Completed a course in Screenwriting for Film and Television at the University of Victoria - Continuing Studies in 2024.
