I’m Samuel Martin Mwend a, and I’m pursuing an opportunity where I can make best of my potential while promoting transparency and accountability to contribute to organization’s growth. I focus on practical financial planning and clear communication that helps clients and teams act with confidence.
As a Financial Advisor at Britam insurance (27th December 2017 – 11th July 2018), I worked with clients to understand the rationale and details of financial strategies. I met with clients to discuss assets, expenses, and long-term and short-term investment goals, then helped devise personalized financial plans and strategies for reducing debt and maximizing savings.
Previously, I supported accounting and reporting work at Times U sacco as an Attachee/Accountant (18th April 2017 – November 8th 2017). I assisted in maintaining accurate financial records, updating and reconciling accounting books, preparing financial statements, and compiling reports for management review, including bank statement reconciliations.
I also gained front-line experience as an Intern/Teller and Teller/marketer (1st August – 30th November 2016), where I maintained accurate transaction records, handled cash and cheques securely, and used customer insights to help develop sales strategies. Alongside this, I’m strengthening my audit and governance capability through online Alison courses in auditing fundamentals and ISO management system audit techniques, including ISO 9001:2005 and ISO 14001:2015.
