Mutaz Hirzallah
@mutazhirzallah1
I've built and led medical engineering, radiotherapy, and scientific equipment businesses.
What I'm looking for
I've spent 29 years connecting clinical engineering, hospital leadership, and commercial delivery across medical, analytical, and research equipment.
As General Manager of Fifth Dimension Engineering & Medical Systems, I established a business supplying, servicing, and consulting on high-technology equipment. I covered sales, technical consulting, customer relations, and bidding for brands including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Varian Medical Systems, Panalytical, IBA Dosimetry, Cameca, Rigaku, and Best Medical.
At King Hussein Cancer Center, I directed medical engineering operations for a specialized 120-bed cancer center and contributed to its JCI accreditation in 2006. I developed departmental plans, policies, and procedures while managing device support, procurement, service contracts, recalls, incidents, and contractor performance.
My foundation is hands-on field service for radiotherapy equipment, LINACs, MRI, dosimetry systems, and electron microscopes. I've also lectured for the IAEA on LINAC servicing and continued developing my capabilities through AWS AI and machine learning certifications.
