As a Public Relations Officer for a state government secretariat, I manage official communications and media relations to support accurate, timely, and consistent government-to-citizen messaging. I draft and disseminate press releases and official statements, coordinate coverage with journalists and press contacts, and monitor media landscape and public sentiment to continuously refine communications strategy.

I also bring strong digital execution through my work as a Social Media Manager, where I developed and ran content strategies across multiple platforms, growing engagement and follower count with brand-aligned campaigns. I manage end-to-end content creation and scheduling, use analytics tools (including HubSpot) for data-driven reporting, and publish SEO-informed content to improve organic visibility.

My background includes communications and PR internship experience (NYSC) and marketing/broadcasting exposure through industrial training at a national radio broadcaster.
