What I'm looking for
I am an effective, highly motivated Accountant with dependable knowledge in Payroll management, Cash Reconciliation, Financial control reporting, and Cost management. I bring “over 7 years of experience” across payroll, petty cash, storage, warehousing, procurement, and stores management, with strong attention to detail and first-class analytical problem solving.
As Branch Manager at Apg milling (March 2024–Date), I oversee all branch operations through effective monitoring, control, and reporting of key activities across the company’s value chain. I plan stock production and allocations, analyze sales and expenditure, compile management reports, and report risk and opportunities to senior management, while also monitoring branch payroll alongside the accountant and group HR.
Previously, as an Accounts Assistant at Choma Milling (November 2018–November 2023), I maintained budgets and records, prepared invoices and expense reports, and posted financial transactions into internal databases with regular reconciliations. I also supported year-end financial reporting, updated accounting ledgers and journals, managed petty cash journals, processed reimbursements, prepared bank deposits, and participated in quarterly and annual audits.
