At Klapton Insurance Zambia, I prepare management accounts, financial statements, and monthly expenditure reports. I also support departmental budget monitoring and control.
I prepare cash flow reports and forecasts for liquidity planning, and reconcile bank, receivables, payables, and general ledger accounts. I also process statutory obligations including PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
At Klapton Insurance Zambia, I manage premium income processes, including invoicing in Sage, validating premium postings, and monitoring income deferrals. I also prepare debtors' ageing reports and follow up outstanding balances.
Previously, as Assistant Accountant - Fixed Assets/ Debtors and Bank Reconciliation at Prudential Life Assurance Zambia, I maintained the fixed asset register, prepared bank reconciliations, and posted receipts in Pastel. I hold an MSc in Accounting & Finance from University of Zambia and a BSc in Accountancy from University of Lusaka.
