What I'm looking for

Remote part-time or contract work in machine learning, data analysis, or AI model evaluation, where I can work with real data and see my work used. I value clear communication, a team that reviews and gives feedback, and flexible hours that fit around my MSc studies. I am based in South Korea (UTC+9) and happy to work across time zones.

I am a machine learning researcher and MSc student in Software Convergence at Dongshin University in South Korea. My research focuses on network intrusion detection and network traffic forecasting. I build, compare, and tune models in Python using scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and pandas, working with public datasets such as UNSW-NB15 and CICIDS2017. In 2026 I wrote three first-author conference papers: one received an Outstanding Paper Award, and another, on a stacked ensemble tuned with Bayesian optimization, was accepted at IEEE ICTC 2026. I also have a journal paper under review that applies machine learning to power system frequency stability.

Before moving into research, I spent nearly six years as a production engineer in Bangladesh, first at Provita Feed and then at Transcom Beverages, a PepsiCo bottler. I led the installation and commissioning of a 48,000 CpH beverage line, worked on grid integration and monitoring for a 1,000 kW rooftop solar plant, installed and synchronized gas engine generators, and kept production lines compliant with PepsiCo quality audits. That work taught me to be careful with details and to test things properly before trusting them.

I am looking for remote, part-time or contract work in machine learning, data analysis, AI model evaluation, or technical writing. I am a native Bengali speaker and fluent in English.
