Monda Zac

I’m a Criminology and Criminal Justice educator with over five years of university teaching experience and more than fifteen years of professional investigative experience. I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminology (expected April 2027), building research around surveillance technology and policing strategies for armed robbery prevention.

In the classroom, I’m committed to student-centered teaching, experiential learning, and applied criminal justice education. I teach undergraduate and diploma courses in criminology and criminal justice, and I supervise research while participating in curriculum review.

My professional background includes conducting fraud, insurance, and security investigations, analyzing digital evidence and surveillance data, and preparing investigative reports and risk assessments. I bring that applied investigative perspective into my teaching—connecting theory to real-world investigative and prevention challenges.

As a published scholar with four peer-reviewed journal publications on policing, crime prevention, and public-private security partnerships, I aim to keep my work grounded, practical, and impactful. I want to join an organization where teaching excellence, rigorous criminology research, and evidence-informed approaches to public safety can work together.
