I model and control resilient HVDC/MVDC converter-dominated power systems.
What I'm looking for
I'm developing and validating MMC-based MVDC links at the University of Manchester, using PSCAD/EMTDC and MATLAB/Simulink to study offshore wind integration, bidirectional power transfer, and converter-dominated network stability.
Previously at Green Energy International, I delivered electrical infrastructure for a 6 MW power plant and gas processing facility, producing specifications, SLDs, cable schedules, distribution layouts, and ETAP power system studies. At Rensource Energy, I coordinated a 2 MW grid-connected rooftop PV project serving more than 3,000 retail outlets, from system sizing and installation through commissioning and fault resolution.
I also teach control systems, circuit analysis, and laboratory work, helping students turn modelling, controller design, and HIL validation into practical engineering capability. My work is focused on control and operation solutions that strengthen grid resilience and enable secure, low-carbon electricity networks.
