My research internship at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery involved working on pediatric total artificial hearts (TAHs) and 3D printing of patient-specific pediatric heart models. Additionally, I interned at Zema GmbH, where I conducted literature research on state-of-the-art technology for sensor integration in bone implants, gaining proficiency in relevant software tools such as SolidWorks, LabVIEW, and MATLAB. I designed and implemented sensor integration into a realistic bone model, showcasing my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges.
