At Betopia Group, I architected and built backend services from scratch for an Australian premium dress-rental platform, designing 300+ REST API endpoints and guiding frontend integration. I improved API response time by 20–30% through database indexing, query performance work, and server-side caching.

I also designed high-throughput, concurrent shipment notifications using event-driven architecture with RabbitMQ, Redis caching, and load balancing. I integrated Stripe multi-vendor onboarding with webhook handling, payouts/commissions, idempotency to prevent duplicates, and real-time payment status updates—supported by patterns like the Outbox Pattern for transactional consistency. I’ve additionally set up CI/CD and production observability (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus) and delivered real-time scaling using a Redis adapter with Socket.io, while keeping reliability high with Jest and Mocha testing.
