Mohammed Duhair
@mohammedduhair
I'm building ADAS control and perception systems for safer autonomous driving.
What I'm looking for
I'm collaborating with Daisy Lab at the University of Naples Federico II on active ADAS research, developing overtaking assistance logic and ACC/CC switching control for safe driving-mode transitions.
My work combines vehicle dynamics, control systems, sensor data, trajectory prediction, and simulation workflows to support real-world ADAS validation. I'm also pursuing an MSc in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering, with coursework in sensor fusion, autonomous-driving control, machine learning, image processing, and ROS2 mobile robots.
Previously, I led vehicle maintenance and complex repair operations at Faris Company, coordinating a team of technicians and diagnosing integrated mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
I've built embedded and autonomous systems including an EKF-based IMU/GNSS navigation system, CNN-based road-object detection, ROS2 mobile robot navigation, and a firefighter robot using STM32, Arduino, infrared sensors, and embedded motor control.
