Andrija Aleksic
@andrijaaleksic
Ph.D. researcher in control systems and hybrid energy storage for electric vehicles.
What I'm looking for
I am a Ph.D. researcher and engineer specializing in control systems, power electronics, and hybrid energy storage for electric vehicles, with a strong foundation in mechatronics and automotive engineering. I combine academic research—focused on batteries, supercapacitors, and Digital Twins—with hands-on HIL modelling and powertrain design experience.
My work includes developing Digital Twin-based control strategies for DC-DC converters, modelling and simulation in MATLAB/Simulink, and designing a Dual-Active Bridge converter for battery-supercapacitor systems. I have authored peer-reviewed publications and completed visiting research on supercapacitor thermal modelling.
I bring practical software and embedded systems skills (C/C++, C#, Python, Delphi, Java), experience with communication protocols (CAN, MQTT, UART, RS), and a proven record in multidisciplinary team projects—aiming to contribute to high-performance automotive and Formula 1 engineering environments.
