What I'm looking for

I am seeking procurement or supply chain roles within multinational and international organizations where I can lead the procurement of goods and services, including food sourcing, vendor management, and contracting. I aim to mentor teams while enhancing compliant and efficient operations.

With a robust background in procurement and supply chain management, along with a strong dedication to operational excellence, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to your organization.

In my current position as a Senior Procurement Associate at the World Food Programme (WFP), I oversee a varied supplier portfolio and supplier relationship management (SRM). I lead food procurement and am actively engaged in the procurement of goods, services, and construction projects.

My expertise includes market analysis, supplier performance evaluation, SRM, and the Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Order processes for both food and non-food procurement. This includes areas such as construction, financial services, and retail contracts, all while ensuring adherence to procurement best practices.

I bring extensive experience in food procurement, including staple commodities such as rice, pulses, oil, and fortified biscuits. I also have substantial experience in sourcing food from smallholder farmers. Since 2017, I have been actively involved in supporting emergency operations, including the Rohingya refugee response. In addition to food procurement, I have a broad range of experience in goods and services procurement, particularly in establishing long-term agreements for various services and managing complex procurement cases. Furthermore, I spent two months in Pakistan supporting the WFP Country Office with food procurement activities and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Beyond procurement, I have over five years of hands-on experience in logistics, covering shipping, transportation, warehouse management, and supply chain transformation initiatives within WFP.

My scope of work also includes procuring administrative items, ICT equipment, maintenance services, financial service providers, construction works, and office renovations. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I led the procurement of PPE, medical supplies, and laboratory equipment worth approximately $7–8 million, directly supporting government health efforts.

I am confident that my skills in strategic sourcing, contract management, vendor engagement, and procurement of both goods and services—as well as my experience in food procurement, shipping, transportation, and warehouse management—align well with your organization’s goals.
