I built SeqQC, an R package that automates FASTA quality checks for GC content, N-content, and sequence validity, and produces reproducible reports. I also created a Python DNA Toolkit for sequence parsing, validation, and exploratory analysis.
As a Research Assistant at Faculty of Medicine, University of Jordan, I record calcium imaging of cultured DRG neurons and quantify neuronal activity through image analysis. I also score behavioral videos, analyze datasets, and contribute to data interpretation and manuscript preparation.
My laboratory work has included DNA extraction, PCR, genotyping, MLPA, and cytogenetic analysis. I’ve co-authored two peer-reviewed papers, and my wet-lab experience helps me understand where biological data come from.
