At the University of Aberdeen, I built and calibrated dynamic reservoir models in Eclipse for oilfield production forecasting. The work improved forecast accuracy by 15% and informed field development plans that contributed to a projected 10% increase in recovery efficiency.
My final-year project explored nanotechnology-enhanced drilling fluids for geothermal wells. I also took part in a drilling department field trip with SLB in Aberdeen.
My petroleum engineering studies covered reservoir engineering, well testing, drilling and well engineering, and petrophysical analysis. I’ve used Petrel, Eclipse, PROSPER, and Interactive Petrophysics for technical work.
As an Operator at Dean’s of Huntly Ltd, I operated and monitored production machinery, assisted with equipment setup and maintenance, and conducted quality checks. I also worked as Housekeeping staff at Hilton Aberdeen TECA, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
