At Siemens Energy, I commission and maintain SGT5-4000F and SGT-2000E gas turbines across power plants in Libya and Oman. I’ve delivered cold and hot commissioning for new units and re-commissioned existing units through customer handover.
As Acting Project Manager, I led the Western Mountain Upstream Cooling Project and the Misrata GT32 forced outage. The Western Mountain project finished on schedule with zero LTIs over about 4,000 man-hours, and I negotiated procurement that cut costs by 30% against the previous offer.
My outage and inspection work includes major, minor, LTE, special and forced-outage scopes. I also inspect turbine components, identify defect root causes, and prepare repair recommendations and spare-parts lists.
I developed web tools to address site challenges, including a commissioning scheduling portal, an engineer dispatch tracker, digital field checklists, a turbine trend analyzer, and a Siemens SPPA-T3000 control-logic viewer. Earlier, at Alhekma, I led a multidisciplinary team delivering CNC-produced customer orders and diagnosed and repaired CNC machines.
