Mohamed Abdraboh
@mohamedabdraboh
Backend Developer specializing in production Java APIs, secure authentication, and scalable AWS deployments.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Backend Developer with experience shipping and maintaining production systems, from secure JWT authentication flows to troubleshooting mission-critical legacy applications. During my Software Engineer role (Military Service Obligation), I maintained and debugged enterprise-scale Sybase PowerBuilder systems managing personnel records, and resolved critical production incidents with minimal documentation.
I build reliable, cleanly structured backend services using modern Java. In my Mazaad online auction platform, I designed a production-ready REST API with Spring Boot 3, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA, implemented JWT (access & refresh tokens) with token blacklisting on logout, and added WhatsApp OTP-based account verification. I also integrated AWS S3 for image storage, PostgreSQL (RDS) for persistence, documented endpoints with Swagger/OpenAPI, and deployed containerized services to AWS EC2 using Docker Compose and environment-based configuration.
I also focus on strong domain modeling and access control. For Medica HMS, I built core hospital modules (Appointment, Admission, Doctor, Patient), designed a relational PostgreSQL schema, and implemented Spring Security RBAC across Admin, Doctor, Nurse, and Patient roles using a Controller–Service–Repository layered architecture with DTO-based contracts. I’m motivated by clean architecture and building systems that scale reliably in production.
