Misbah Yasmeen

I’m a results-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant with a background in Psychology, and I specialize in a holistic approach to patient care. I focus on clinical workflow accuracy—managing EHR tasks, maintaining precise medical records, and supporting physicians with technical reliability.

I bring HIPAA-ready handling of sensitive health information through certified HIPAA compliance training, including HIPAA Privacy Rules, Security Rules, patient confidentiality, PHI protection, data security, and breach prevention. In virtual roles, I used this mindset to securely manage records and keep patient processes running smoothly.

Across my experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant, I handled appointment scheduling, patient queries, patient registration, and patient charting, while coordinating lab orders and processing medication refills. I also supported Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) by recording and tracking BP readings regularly and assisting with ongoing monitoring activities.

My psychology training strengthens how I communicate and care for people: I apply psychological insights to improve patient cooperation and patient counseling, and I’ve completed applied psychology work including child and adult psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment support, and management plan involvement. I’m currently pursuing an MSC specialization in Psychology and I’m energized by roles where clinical documentation, patient triage, and psychology-informed communication come together to improve outcomes.
