At Lee Enterprises’ Blox Digital, I was the first of three founding engineers on NXT, the next-generation news CMS. I established its React and TypeScript front-end architecture, and the platform became the daily publishing system for ~500 media organizations while still in beta.
I own four NXT subsystems end to end: Inline Assets, Import/Export, Notifications, and the AP Style Guide Checker. I also co-lead platform search, including filtering and saved custom queries, and help set component architecture, TypeScript conventions, and code-review standards as the product organization has grown.
Before Blox Digital, I advanced through four roles at Deere & Company, including serving as a dedicated IT advisor to its senior-most business leadership. As Product Owner and Scrum Master, I coordinated projects and replaced manual asset tracking with automation that eliminated 60 hours of monthly work. I also run TechJunkie, LLC, providing WordPress and WooCommerce development and managed infrastructure services.
