At KIWI.COM, I designed and evolved distributed services for acquiring and maintaining flight pricing across Search and Booking, processing thousands of requests per second. I also designed a distributed pricing engine that generated rules from sampled flight data, addressing the growth of non-adult fare sourcing.
I built independently scalable Python services using PostgreSQL and Redis, and optimized Python hot paths to reduce pricing-platform CPU utilization by approximately 20%. I also led the migration of dozens of backend services to Kubernetes, improving deployment reliability and resource efficiency.
