What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a SOC role where I can run SIEM monitoring, analyze incidents end-to-end, and improve detection with Wazuh/Suricata, while continuing to grow from Level 1 into deeper investigation and threat hunting.

I’m a SOC Level 1 professional with hands-on experience across network monitoring, incident analysis, server administration, and VPN and firewall management. I combine cybersecurity monitoring with practical operations to keep services available while strengthening operational security.

In my current IT Support role at MDG-IT Madagascar, I manage server administration (including file servers, Domain Controller administration, and backups with Veeam and Proxmox Backup Server). I also handle network administration with Kerio Control—covering VPN configuration and management, firewall management, and ongoing network monitoring.

Previously, I worked as a NOC Operator at GULFSAT Madagascar, supervising IT and telecom infrastructures. I monitored server and electrical infrastructure, escalated issues to Level 2/Level 3, and managed 50+ monthly network and server incidents while maintaining high service availability.

I’m also self-training for SOC operations through TryHackMe, focusing on SIEM monitoring and log analysis, incident detection and escalation, threat monitoring, network traffic analysis, and IDS/IPS concepts. My toolkit spans Wazuh, Suricata/Snort, Wireshark, Nmap, Tcpdump, and Shodan—so I can move from detection to investigation confidently.
