What I'm looking for

I am looking for a job that provides a challenging and dynamic environment where I can apply my skills in machine learning and data science. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to work on machine learning projects and web development. I value a company culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

I am S.A. Pasindu Mihiran, a software engineer with a strong background in computer science and engineering. I hold a B.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, where I achieved a CGPA of 7.65/10.0. Throughout my education, I have honed my skills in general programming languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, R, and Dart. I am also proficient in operating systems like Windows and Ubuntu, as well as software tools like Matlab. Additionally, I have experience with web development frameworks, including TensorFlow and Flutter, and database management systems like MySQL. My language proficiency extends to English and Sinhala.

During my academic journey, I have been actively involved in various extracurricular activities. As the captain of the badminton team at Sivali Centrel College, I led my team to become the Provincial School Games Champions in 2017. I also received an Excellent pass in the All Island Art Competition the same year. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and discipline.

I have achieved notable academic accomplishments, including participating in the Google Kick Start in May 2021. In October 2022, I released a conference paper titled 'Accident Rescuing System for Vehicles in Road Traffic: A Smart Phone Application' at the 4th International Conference on Cybernetics, Cognition, and Machine Learning Applications (ICCCMLA) in Goa, India. Furthermore, I have a journal paper titled 'Group Recommender System using MinHash with Graph Neural Network' under review in S N Computer Science, Springer Nature.
