Michelle Kristiansen
@michellekristiansen
I am an experienced Emergency Department RN transitioning into Emergency Department Director.
What I'm looking for
I am an Emergency Department RN with over a decade of high-acuity experience, providing care in busy 21–35 bed ERs and managing as many as 80–115 critically ill patients per shift. I consistently prioritize rapid, evidence-based care in high-volume settings.
In my current role I serve as Pediatric Clinical Coordinator, leading pediatric policy revisions, ensuring survey readiness, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. I also function as a triage RN and mentor new staff to uphold departmental standards.
I have demonstrated leadership supervising LPNs, CNAs, and nursing teams, improving throughput, patient flow, and satisfaction through collaborative initiatives. I maintain advanced certifications and apply evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
I am seeking to transition into an Emergency Department Director role where I can apply visionary, collaborative leadership to drive operational excellence, staff development, and patient-centered outcomes.
