Michael Stuart
@michaelstuart
I am an Economics and Psychology graduate skilled in data analysis, drone operations, and multimedia editing.
What I'm looking for
I am a dual-degree graduate in Economics and Psychology with a 3.93 GPA, graduated with honors in May 2025. My academic training emphasized quantitative methods, statistical reasoning, and applied research.
I am FAA Part 107 certified for commercial drone operations (since June 2025) and have five years of drone flight experience using platforms such as the DJI Mini 4 Pro, DJI Phantom 3 Advanced, DJI Spark, and Autel X‑Star Premium. I also edit photo and video using Wondershare Filmora, Videoshop, and Adobe Lightroom, and I showcase drone edit highlights on a public Instagram page.
My research roles include Project Assistant on an economics internship where I analyzed agricultural regulation and housing issues and presented findings at the Ventura County Housing Conference, and Group Leader roles in psychology research/statistics courses using SPSS and Qualtrics. For my economics capstone I extracted GSS data and used OLS models with Python to study pet ownership and wellbeing, culminating in a 30-page paper.
I currently freelance as a photo and video editor and founded a local community group with 180+ members, organizing events and managing logistics. I bring a blend of technical analysis, field drone operations, and multimedia storytelling, and I am eager to apply these skills in roles that value evidence-based work and community impact.
