Lucas Simonson

I’m a creative videographer and video editor with 3+ years of experience producing 400+ short-form brand videos for diverse clients and nonprofits. I love taking projects from concept and script through shoot and final edit, making sure every cut supports clear brand storytelling.

In my current Videographer & Editor role, I write, shoot, and edit videos with fast-turnaround deadlines—delivering near-final quality on the first draft. I collaborate with clients to conceptualize creative strategies aligned to each brand’s goals, and I enhance production quality using motion graphics, templates, music, sound effects, and color grading.

I’m also hands-on with production details that protect quality and workflow. I organize files to keep projects moving smoothly, and I work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a strong standard for the final deliverable. I’m FAA-certified and experienced operating professional camera and audio setups, including drone capture.

Earlier film experiences strengthened my end-to-end approach: I wrote, shot, and edited a 15-minute short film as a solo capstone project, and I also directed a short film that received an Award of Achievement and was selected for a film festival. I bring that same creative discipline into every new production, supported by a background in digital media production and film studies.
