What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an accounting or finance role where I can own full-cycle processes, strengthen reporting and close activities, and use Excel, SQL, Power BI, and automation to improve accuracy and reduce manual work.

I've run full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks Online for Adirondack Hemp Company, a $1M+ licensed company I co-founded, managing invoicing and collections across 54 retail accounts, AP, reconciliations, and month-end financial statements.

I also owned budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, variance analysis, and financial and regulatory reporting used by leadership, investors, and state regulators. I managed relationships with investors, distributors, regulators, and wholesale customers while hiring and leading a 10-person team.

At Umicore, I processed AP invoices in SAP Business One, reconciled vendor and GL accounts, and supported month-end and year-end close for a global materials-technology company.

I'm equally focused on making accounting work more efficiently: I use advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python to automate recurring reconciliations and reports. One compliance automation tool reduced a twice-monthly labeling process from three hours to five minutes.
