At Boya, I migrated business reporting from MySQL to Redshift and rewrote Metabase questions so the results matched the originals. I also built Cube.js models for revenue reporting and designed a 12-endpoint API for live finance data.
As a Data Engineering Intern at Boya, I built a daily reconciliation platform that checks the internal ledger against six external payment sources. I orchestrated ingestion into Redshift, wrote dbt models and matching logic, and led a 75-month historical backfill with row-count validation.
On ride-api, a three-engineer payments project, I owned the AWS infrastructure and CI/CD delivery. I rebuilt the 286-resource stack from code to test disaster recovery, verified it with a live transaction, and uncovered two production bugs.
I also collected and cleaned reports for Tesfa, an agentic AI health-risk system, and built hybrid retrieval served through FastAPI. I build quickly with AI coding tools and verify the output with tests, row counts and data checks.
