What I'm looking for

I’m seeking public accounting and assurance roles where I can apply ASPE/IFRS knowledge, perform substantive testing, and build audit-ready working papers—growing toward CPA certification while strengthening internal controls and reporting reliability.

I’m an accounting and assurance intern building my CPA path through hands-on work in audit support, reconciliations, and financial reporting. I focus on strengthening internal controls and helping teams stay audit-ready from planning through close.

At a public accounting firm, I supported assurance engagements by performing substantive testing, reviewing supporting documents, and preparing working papers and account analyses under IFRS and ASPE frameworks. I also completed variance and trend analysis to surface operational risks and control weaknesses.

In industry roles, I performed account reconciliations, prepared journal entries, and supported month-end close with ASPE/GAAP-aligned accuracy. I’ve used Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP) to automate recurring workflows and dashboards, improving reporting efficiency and enabling clearer management insights.

I bring an analytic mindset beyond accounting through leadership and campus engagement. As a CPA Ontario Post-Secondary Ambassador, I promote the CPA designation and connect with students and faculty, and I continue developing my finance perspective as an Investment Analyst/Associate.
