I'm looking for a remote role where I can apply Python, scientific computing, data analysis, and AI-assisted development to real products. I'm especially interested in backend/Python engineering, AI/LLM tooling, scientific software, and applied machine learning.
Aliaksandr Alvinski
@mephistophelesdeu
Physicist and Python developer building scientific software, AI-assisted tools, and data-driven applications.
What I'm looking for
I'm a physics graduate and junior researcher with 5 years of non-commercial Python experience, working at the intersection of scientific computing, software development, and AI.
My work includes numerical modelling, scientific data analysis, X-ray diffraction research, machine learning experiments, and building interactive software. For my university research, I worked on an inverse-design problem for quantum systems using numerical and ML methods.
I also build independent projects, including PhysicsLab — an interactive physics-learning platform — and actively use AI coding agents as part of my development workflow.
My main stack is Python, with experience in scientific computing, data analysis, automation, Git, and web development. I'm especially interested in Python engineering, AI/LLM tooling, scientific software, data engineering, and applied machine learning.
