I am a dedicated general surgeon with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical education. After earning my Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Gondar, I served as a lecturer at Wachemo University, where I taught medical and paramedical students while also leading the department of Medicine. My journey in surgery began at Pawi General Hospital, where I honed my skills in both elective and emergency surgical cases, ultimately becoming the head of the Surgical department.
Currently, I am serving as a consultant general surgeon at Emergency ONG in Sierra Leone, where I provide surgical treatment to trauma patients. My role also involves managing complex cases, such as caustic soda ingestion, and I am actively involved in research and training health personnel in the region. My commitment to improving surgical care and education drives my work, and I am passionate about making a positive impact in the communities I serve.
