At Arbaminch General Hospital, I completed clinical rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. I took patient histories, performed physical examinations, and contributed to clinical assessment and treatment planning under supervision.
I also participated in emergency assessment and initial stabilization, ward rounds, and case presentations. I maintained patient documentation and medical records, and communicated with patients and families about care.
As part of the NIFAP Project Team, I contributed to developing and launching a nutrition-focused project supporting children under five affected by severe acute malnutrition. I worked with nutritionists to develop and refine a nutrient-dense product using locally sourced ingredients.
Through the Ethiopian Medical Students Association, I planned and coordinated training activities and facilitated academic and professional discussions. I’m a licensed Medical Doctor and a Certified Trainer of New Research Trainers.
