I'm currently supporting Liver Specialists of Texas with medical coding, charge capture, claim processing, coding audits, denial resolution, and revenue cycle management for complex hepatology care.

I code outpatient, inpatient, transplant-related, endoscopic, and procedural services using ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines. I review clinical documentation for cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, viral hepatitis, and transplant evaluations while supporting compliant claims for Medicare and commercial insurers.

At The College of Health Care Professions, I taught medical coding and billing and coordinated externships, preparing students academically, technically, and professionally while building relationships with externship sites.

My healthcare background also includes scribing, medical assisting, patient financial coordination, medical records, insurance verification, referrals, scheduling, and bilingual patient communication in English and Spanish.
