Megan Ferguson

I am a family nurse practitioner with a strong background in emergency nursing and urgent care, providing exceptional care to patients and families. I transitioned to APRN practice after seven years in emergency nursing and completed a Master's in Nursing (FNP) in December 2023.

Since March 2024 I have provided urgent care coverage across multiple Ascension Fox Valley locations, managing 30–40 patients during 12-hour shifts and performing EKG and X-ray interpretation as well as minor procedures like suturing, I&D, and cryotherapy.

Previously, I served as Lead RN in 21–22 bed emergency departments and held two year-long travel RN contracts, gaining extensive experience in triage, direct patient care, and team leadership. My clinical practice emphasizes efficient, evidence-based decision-making in high-volume settings.

I am committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, and I thrive in fast-paced environments where procedural skills, acute assessment, and clear communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams are essential.
