What I'm looking for

I’m eager to pursue new Nurse Practitioner opportunities where I can use my emergency and critical care experience, expand my knowledge, and deliver compassionate, holistic care while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

I’m a Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, holistic care and being a positive team member. I bring over 9 years of healthcare experience across trauma, critical care and emergency medicine, physical and rehabilitation medicine, and fast-track settings.

In my current role at Vituity (Community Health Network of Northwest Indiana) in the Emergency Department, I assist physicians and provide direct patient care. I coordinate with staff, administration, patients, and families, and I also manage gathering research data and discharge planning.

Earlier, as a Registered Nurse at Riverside Medical Center in Emergency Services, I planned and implemented care for patients of all ages with both emergent and non-emergent needs. I performed in-depth patient assessments, monitored and reported signs and symptoms to providers, educated patients and families on the plan of care, and responded to medical emergencies.

I also built leadership and quality-focused skills as a Registered Nurse, Team Leader in an inpatient physical/medical rehabilitation unit, supporting a 30-bed setting. I held daily shift-change huddles, conducted chart audits, supported disciplinary action, attended monthly fall-preventing meetings, and helped maintain/improve QI metric sets, all while acting as a nurse role model.
