Md Hamid Khan

I am a mechanical engineering graduate with hands-on experience in maintenance administration, automotive workshops, and materials testing. I combine practical workshop exposure with academic research on green hybrid composites and tribological testing.

In my current role as PMS Admin I developed preventive maintenance schedules, managed spare-parts inventory and coordinated with technical teams to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability. During a summer internship at TATA Motors I collaborated with a team to study automotive components and their performance.

My academic projects include developing eco-friendly hybrid composites, where I designed fabrication methodology and planned mechanical and tribological testing, and extensive pin-on-disc experiments comparing wear and friction across multiple materials. I have practical lab experience conducting over 30 tribometer experiments and analyzing material performance.

I bring strong software skills in SolidWorks, MATLAB and MS Office, plus communication, leadership and teamwork developed through roles as a Subject Matter Expert and core member of a green club. I seek roles where I can apply materials and maintenance expertise to improve reliability and sustainability.
