Kotagoda Shiva kumar

I am an entry-level mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in CAD modeling, CFD simulation, and 3D printing, grounded in a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. I apply SolidWorks and ANSYS to design, analyze, and prototype mechanical components and assemblies.

During academic projects I conducted thermal analysis of a heat exchanger using ANSYS Fluent, studying temperature distribution and pressure drop across operating conditions. I also designed and assembled mechanical parts in SolidWorks, produced engineering drawings, and ran basic motion studies.

I completed industrial training at Aisan Auto Parts Pvt Ltd where I observed automotive manufacturing operations, production workflows, basic quality checks, and shop-floor safety practices. I have additional certifications in Python, IoT Fundamentals, 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing, Product Design and Analysis, Automotive Systems, and Automation in Manufacturing.

I contribute through practical engineering solutions, continuous learning, and community engagement — having participated in NSS volunteering and technical competitions. I seek to grow my skills in real-world engineering environments where I can help deliver tangible products and improvements.
