What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead AI-and-surveillance analytics with rigorous biostatistics, strengthen data governance and quality controls, and translate complex modeling into decision-grade insights for senior leadership.

I’m a senior public health data scientist and Navy veteran with doctoral training in Artificial Intelligence, paired with deep expertise in biostatistics and epidemiologic modeling.

In my work across federal and municipal public health systems, I elevate methodological rigor and strengthen data governance so complex analytics become decision-grade insights for leadership. I focus on reproducibility, quality control, and the modernization of analytics workflows that improve cross-system comparability.

Most recently, I provide statistical leadership for the Joint Trauma System at the Defense Health Agency, supporting research and data governance for the Department of Defense Trauma Registry. I apply multivariate methods—including logistic regression and artificial neural networks—while collaborating on statistical study design, analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Previously, I led analytics and methodological review at the National Center for Health Statistics, including validation of national health indicators used in federal performance reporting. Earlier roles included governance and automated reporting for the Citywide Immunization Registry and advanced analytic support at the CDC, where I built reproducible pipelines in SAS, R, and SQL and delivered Tableau dashboards for program performance reviews.
