Staff software engineer building production GenAI and privacy-aware personalization.
What I'm looking for
I build production AI systems end-to-end—model integration, retrieval, evaluation, monitoring, and safety/privacy-aware product design. As a Staff Software Engineer at Google DeepMind, I’ve led staff-level Gemini App engineering for model launches and consent boundaries, shaping serving architecture, agentic workflows, and Personal Intelligence powered by Gmail, Photos, YouTube, and Search.
Previously at Google, I drove the evolution from Google Assistant to Bard to Gemini App by owning conversational and generative AI architecture, quality evaluation pipelines, and low-latency serving for global-scale products. I also bring domain rigor from my Data Scientist work at Guardian Analytics, where I built explainable real-time fraud models—skills I now apply to reliable AI behavior, observability, and trustworthy user experiences.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Owned staff-level GenAI product engineering for Gemini model launches and privacy-aware personalization in the Gemini app, spanning model integration, serving, agentic workflows, retrieval, evaluation, and safety-sensitive design. Led architecture and quality strategies that improved model routing, streaming delivery, and trust through observability and launch criteria.
Owned architecture, evaluation, and serving systems across conversational and generative AI products, helping drive the evolution from Google Assistant to Bard and the Gemini App at global scale. Led improvements in NLU/dialogue systems, low-latency infrastructure, quality evaluation pipelines, and retrieval-aware grounding with safety checks.
