What I'm looking for

I’m currently seeking a business intelligence/data analyst position, preferably in the healthcare industry, where I can turn healthcare coding and revenue-cycle data into trusted dashboards and insights using SQL and Power BI.

I’m a Coding Integrity Specialist II for HCA Healthcare / Parallon’s HIM Outpatient Coding Department, bringing together healthcare domain knowledge with technical analysis to improve coding accuracy for high-dollar, high-error-rate outpatient accounts. I review vendor-processed CPT and ICD-10-CM coding, focusing on areas like Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neuro-stimulators, Hysterectomies, and ED/ER wound repairs.

Across my healthcare and analytics background, I’ve worked extensively with EMR/EHR documentation workflows and coding environments, including Meditech 5.X and Expanse, Cerner PowerChart, Epic Hyperspace, eClinicalWorks, and Patient Keeper. I’ve also supported revenue cycle and claims management systems such as Ability Network, Trizetto Gateway, and Medisoft.

Before Parallon/HCA, I built and supported data-driven applications and reporting as an application developer and real-time systems analyst for over a decade with IBM Global Services and TekSystems. Today, I continue strengthening my data skills through self-training (DataCamp and PluralSight) and apply them to Power BI dashboards/reports (basic DAX) and advanced SQL concepts, so I can deliver reliable healthcare insights.
