Matilda Svensson
@matildasvensson
Project manager and engineer-driven entrepreneur building technology ventures through iteration, trust, and real-impact decisions.
What I'm looking for
I grew up in entrepreneurship around real consequences, and I became someone who looks for improvement and tests how to implement it. When covid isolated me, I sketched a direct-to-consumer food idea—learning that identifying real issues and analyzing solutions is what makes me want to pursue entrepreneurship.
In my work, I combine execution with learning under uncertainty. As a Project Manager for Chalmersloppet, I co-led a large-scale event with 1,200+ participants by managing strategy, operations, and budget, then helped us relaunch within minutes after major disruption by enabling quick, decentralized decisions.
My engineering foundation shows up in how I approach problems end-to-end. In my Bachelor’s Thesis at Essity Hygiene and Health AB, I identified inefficiencies and developed improvement proposals for value stream optimization, bridging engineering analysis with business impact.
I also focus on building teams and ventures that can handle disruption. I push for shared “Game Rules” early, and I’ve learned from setbacks—like stepping in when I couldn’t handle a task alone—that honesty about what I don’t know strengthens collaboration.
