What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Junior Data Analyst role where I can clean and analyze data confidently, apply statistical modelling, and communicate clear, actionable insights that support business decisions and learning from experienced analysts.

I’m a Statistics graduate with a strong analytical foundation and hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and research. With a CGPA of 3.79 (Second Class Upper), I’ve built a practical edge in regression, correlation, and ANOVA—using real datasets to support evidence-based decisions.

During my Data Analyst Internship, I cleaned, structured, and analyzed datasets with SPSS and Excel to improve downstream reporting quality. I also produced summary reports and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders, collaborating with a research team to identify data gaps and recommend corrective actions.

I’m equally comfortable translating complex quantitative ideas into clear communication—supported by my NYSC experience as a Mathematics Teacher, where I strengthened students’ analytical reasoning through real-world examples. Through my final-year project on crime and unemployment in Nigeria, I collected and validated data, applied Pearson correlation and OLS regression, ran ANOVA tests, and presented policy-relevant insights using Python (Matplotlib), Excel, and SPSS. I’m motivated to keep delivering structured, trustworthy analytics as a Junior Data Analyst.
