What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a full-stack or software developer role focused on Python/Django and React in an agile, collaborative team where I can code, mentor, and grow.

I am a software developer and educator with a background in information technology, engineering, and linguistics. I build backend APIs and interactive web front ends, and I enjoy translating technical concepts into clear learning experiences.

As a backend developer intern, I built and tested Python/Django REST APIs for an ed-tech platform, contributed in agile sprints, and fixed production bugs to improve functionality. As a freelance web developer I led backend work on a mental-health portal using JavaScript, React, Python, and Flask and deployed the app to Heroku.

I have hands-on instructional experience: I independently taught a fully remote Spanish 1120 course, graded undergraduate linguistics coursework while maintaining top grades in my graduate classes, and taught web development to high school students. I also tutor math for grades 3–12, adapting lessons to student needs.

I bring a cross-disciplinary perspective grounded in technical skills (Python, JavaScript, Django, React), strong communication in English and Spanish, and a commitment to collaborative, learner-focused teams where I can both build robust applications and mentor others.
