I’m a creative psychotherapist, university educator, and researcher with experience in child-focused programs and adult training. In my PhD research, I designed treatment plans for children aged 7 to 12, and I currently provide psychotherapy and psychological assessments for children at Al-Ahli Centre for Health Services.
I focus on therapeutic support that’s both effective and engaging—using innovative and creative tools (including Zen arts) to strengthen children’s developmental, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and conduct/assist in research projects to improve child care practices and services.
Alongside clinical work, I teach in higher education and support students through academic courses, research projects, and emotionally supportive learning environments. As an Assistant Professor, I deliver and integrate AI-based teaching approaches, designed and implemented innovative teaching methods, and apply instructional technology to enhance learning and innovation.
My experience also includes psychological assessment and therapeutic support in psychiatry settings, nursing education (Lecturer and Assistant Professor roles), and school counseling using drawing and creative activities and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Earlier, I worked with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Affairs, including psychosocial support for homeless and street-connected children and UNICEF-supported activities such as family tracing and referral pathways.
