What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that challenges me and offers growth opportunities in data analysis and risk management.

I am an Actuarial Science graduate currently completing my Honours in Quantitative and Risk Management. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in statistical analysis and quantitative methods, which I am eager to apply in real-world scenarios. I have a strong interest in building data-driven models to tackle complex financial challenges.

During my internship as an Actuarial Data Analyst at Actuary Consulting, I successfully extracted, cleaned, and transformed large actuarial and financial datasets using Excel. This experience allowed me to support data-driven decision-making effectively. I also developed and implemented custom VBA macros to automate repetitive data preparation tasks, significantly improving processing efficiency and reducing the risk of manual errors.

In addition to my technical skills, I have demonstrated leadership as a Class Representative at the University of Pretoria, where I facilitated communication between students and faculty. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, as evidenced by my completion of various bootcamps in Python and SQL.
